October 2008
This September / October 2008, the first trip for www.stop-poverty.com will take place to Thailand where the a Baby Orphanage in Bangkok Phayathai Babies' Home in 78/24 Phumwet Road, Bangtalat, Pakkret, will be visited and first donated clothes and toys will be distributed.

Orphanages like these usually don’t receive any financial or other support through the thai government, in most cases those can only maintain through private financial and other donations. Cost of living for a child growing up depend on his / her age and his / her individual needs. Approximately 2.000  US are the cost per child / year, Brother Dennis is coordinating the support of the childs and takes care of issues like becoming a godfather.

Sponsors and Godfathers can take over a full “Sponsorship” in terms of sending 2.000 $ US / per year, of course semi “Sponsorchips” are possible as well. The Godfather receives a picture a short resume of the sponsored child, as soon as the child is old enough, he or she usually rights letters to his / her godfather / sponsor.

November 2008
In November 2008 Lars Borkowsky will visit an orphanage in Phuket during his holiday and will distribute food and other items to the orphanage.
